BREAKING NEWS: BISP will use mobile registration vans

Minister of State for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Faisal Karim Kundi, Pakistan announces BISP will use mobile registration vans project to register poor women from remote areas for Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) The mobile registration vans will be launched from next month. Federal Minister Faisal Karim Kundi has emphasized that BISP is a non-political program aimed at providing financial benefits to poor families and voters of all political parties in a transparent manner. He expressed these things during a meeting at the BISP Center. Faisal Karim said that we have started the establishment of BISP Open Court. By which the problems of the citizens will be solved directly at their doorsteps.


BISP will use mobile registration vans details

Speaking in the open court in Tehsil Daraban, the Federal Minister said that the population of Tehsil Daraban is about 125,000, out of which 17,500 people are benefiting from the BISP program. Faisal Karim Kundi informed the people about the distribution of around 160 million rupees to the beneficiaries every three months. He also announced increase in stipend for children of card holders.

Faisal Karim Kundi admitted that only 11,000 card holders received financial assistance during the floods in Tehsil Daraban last year. While many people were affected by the flood. And only 70% of the truly deserving people benefited from this assistance.

Faisal Karim Kundi further said that the program is bringing additional benefits to the deserving people, he announced the establishment of BISP offices in more backward tehsils. Kandi also asked for bank accounts to be opened for direct deposit for people in the program. He also reiterated his commitment to work on the restoration of previously blocked BISP cards.
