At present, approximately 70% of Pakistan’s population is grappling with poverty, leaving only 30% to lead a more comfortable life. To address this disparity, the government has initiated several programs with the aim of narrowing the gap between these two segments of society.
These initiatives have a common goal of providing financial assistance to the less fortunate, ultimately raising their quality of life and affording them the opportunity to achieve greater independence.
Even prior to the elections, the Pakistani government had committed to implementing such programs, and it has made good on this commitment. The central objective driving these endeavors is the reduction of poverty and the enhancement of overall social welfare.
These programs are currently being executed with effectiveness. Additionally, there are two other notable initiatives in place: the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program and the Ehsaas Kafalat Program.
