New Update: Government Of Pakistan Again Issued 8171 Benazir Card

The Pakistani government has recently announced the reintroduction of the 8171 Benazir Card as part of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP). This decision comes in response to the challenges faced by beneficiaries of the Benazir Kafayat program in receiving their installments promptly. Many deserving individuals have experienced delays of several months in accessing their financial assistance.

The initiative includes issuing Benazir Cards to women enrolled in the Benazir Kafalat program, allowing them to easily receive their installments from ATMs. The BISP program aims to distribute Benazir Cards to all eligible users, streamlining the process of receiving economic assistance.

Reasons for Restarting the 8171 BISP Card in 2024:

Verification Failure: One of the main reasons for reintroducing the BISP card is the failure of thumbprint verification during the installment disbursement process for women from low-income families. Many elderly women have faced challenges in receiving Benazir Kafalat program installments due to issues with thumbprint verification. The introduction of the Benazir Card aims to address this issue.

HBL E-Connect Shop Fraud: Another significant reason for introducing the BISP ATM card is the reported fraudulent activities by representatives of HBL E-Connect shops. Instances of representatives deducting installments and individuals not acknowledging the deduction have led to complications. To address the high number of complaints, BISP is introducing the ATM card to ensure beneficiaries receive their full stipends.

How to Obtain the 8171 Benazir Card:

Users affiliated with the BISP program who wish to obtain the Benazir Card can follow these steps:

1. Visit the nearest BISP Tehsil Office.
2. Provide your National Identity Card and the slip issued by the NSER Survey.
3. Obtain an application form for the ATM card from the BISP Tehsil Office.
4. Complete the form with the required information and submit it back to the BISP Tehsil Office.

Users will receive SMS notifications from 8171 when the Benazir Cards are ready for distribution. They can then collect their Benazir Cards from their nearest BISP Tehsil Office.

How to Use the BISP ATM Card:

To withdraw installments using the Benazir Income Support Program ATM card, follow these steps:

1. Visit the nearest HBL ATM.
2. Insert your Benazir Card and wait for the processing to complete.
3. Enter your National Identity Card number and four-digit PIN when prompted on the screen.
4. View your installment amount on the screen.
5. Choose the withdrawal option to access your money as needed.

It is important not to share your PIN with anyone to ensure the security of your installment.
